A day in the life of the jmonsters… is basically just that. An online journal, web log, of the day to day happenings of Tallmonster, Smallmonster, Mommy, and Daddy. A place for us to share the joys and sorrows, (mostly joys), of family life in the Finger Lakes Region of Central New York Triad Region of North Carolina.
Tallmonster aka “Bub”

Loves:
- To build things: Legos, Knex, Tinker Toys, and/or Lincoln Logs.
- Can’t live without his Playstation and watching television.
- Playing games including chess, monopoly (it is always such a chore), and Othello.
Hates:
- Work in general, everyday the chores are a test of wills.
- Spelling (see the blog) and most school work, although he can be bright when he puts his mind to something.
- Being neat and clean. this kid is the definition of messy, and is sometimes just plain gross to be with.
Smallmonster aka “Booger”

Loves:
- To please people, he really cares about others.
- Play with cars, there isn’t many times that he isn’t racing around the track with a matchbox
- Being with Tall monster (this would be a hate for Tall monster). When the don’t fight they really have a good time together, they fight often.
Hates:
- Getting yelled at, (doesn’t seem to stop him from being bad).
- Eating dinner, (although he has an insatiable appetite during the day).
- Getting dressed in the morning, (we really don’t understand).
Beth aka “Mommy”

Loves:
- When jmonsters behave and play nicely and quietly together.
- Steelers football, sports in general.
- Reading the paper.
- Woodworking.
Hates:
- When jmonsters are bad and try to kill one another.
- Messes, and dishes in the sink overnight.
- Scary movies.
Matt aka “Daddy”

Loves:
- Geeking on the computer.
- Organizing (only when time allows, probably just loves more time to allow).
- Remodeling (only when finances allow, probably just loves more finances to allow).
- Gardening (see the time part).
Hates:
- When Mommy is mad, (see hates, particularly the jmonsters part).
- Not having an overall plan, (the details can be filled in while we go).
- When things don’t work when they should, (goes for people too).
- Unaccountability, (I don’t know, wasn’t my fault, and he did it need to move out).
